Mihai Cocea is the principal viola of Brussels Philharmonic. He is laureate of numerous international competitions including the Watson Forbes International Viola Competition and finalist of the Yuri Bashmet Viola Competition. As a soloist, Mihai Cocea has performed with several orchestras, among which Nova Russia, St. Andrews Symphony Orchestra, Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra, Moscow Soloists and many more.
